Rocky Ridge Park covers 750 acres northwest of Hellam. You enjoy scenic vistas across the Susquehanna Valley from trails and picnic sites. This land became the county’s first park in 1968.
Early settlers established homes near this hilltop long ago. Today, peaceful neighborhoods border the park in Springettsbury Township. Mature oak forests cover ninety percent of this rocky ridge. You face severe storm damage, oak wilt, and harmful tree pests on private properties nearby.
You will need scheduled maintenance to keep big trees safe. Proper trimming removes dead limbs and balances heavy crowns. Root aeration feeds trees on thin, rocky soil.

Oathkeepers tree care delivers dedicated tree services throughout the Springettsbury Township and Hellam neighborhoods. Our local team protects your property against wind storms and heavy ice damage.
We perform safe branch removal, stump grinding, and tree health inspections for local homeowners. Our crews use modern aerial lifts and wood chippers to clean properties fast. Rocky hilltop soil and wet weather require specific care routines for every yard.
We create tailored plans based on your property layout and slope. Healthy trees increase your property value and prevent costly structure damage during storms. You gain a safer yard with our expert team.
Advanced Equipment for Rocky Terrain and Local Weather
Oathkeepers tree care adjusts methods for the shallow, rocky ground around York County. High winds along the ridge create unstable branches on steep hillsides. We use heavy cranes, aerial bucket trucks, rigging ropes, powerful chainsaws, commercial stump grinders, and high-capacity chippers.
Cranes lift huge branches safely over home roofs without turf damage. Rigging ropes control falling wood near power lines. Low-impact machinery prevents erosion on loose slopes during heavy rains.
These specific tools keep your yard clean, protect local soil, and maintain safe work zones during tough winter storms. This process keeps surrounding plants healthy and preserves your lawn.
